On Saturday June 14, Ashley Mills the current coach at Prahran Assumption will return to his old stomping ground to coach against his former club, Therry Penola.

The Therry Penola v Prahran Assumption clash will see him pit his coaching prowess against former premiership teammate Dennis Castaldi.

To mark this unique event, the club is holding a luncheon to honor Dennis and Ashley’s wonderful contributions to VAFA football.

It will include a highlights package of Ashley and Dennis’ games in the 2000 premiership victory over Beaumaris.
Ashley was famously rubbed out for four matches after his shutdown job on Beaumaris’ best player, Danny George, so the package will contain some jaw dropping footage.

The cost for the two-course luncheon is $25 and takes place from midday to 2.00pm at John Pascoe Fawkner Reserve, Oak Park.
