Therry Penola AFC are thrilled to announce John Tate as the new Senior Men’s Football Coach for 2025.

John, a former Therry player comes with impressive CV both as a player but also within the coaching ranks. After representing the Big V in the VAFA, “Tatey” went on to play in the VFL, GVFL and EDFL. Since finishing up he has had various coaching roles at both a junior and senior level at Strathmore, Tullamarine, Keilor and most recently at Overnewton College.

John is super excited to work closely with all players to maximise their skills and achieve a common goal as well as creating a productive and loyal club environment that everyone wants to be apart of.
