We hope you are all well. Here’s hoping we hit our vaccine targets and get back to some slight normality over the coming months.

Just a quick update regarding the season just gone and season 2022.

Following finalisation from the VAFA, we would like to congratulate both our Senior Women and U19 sides for achieving Minor Premiership honours. The cancellation of the season was a bitter pill for all but was no doubt toughest on both of these sides who were well poised to capitalise on their strong seasons and bring back some silverware to JP. Although it wasn’t to be, we are excited to see these players continue to develop and convert their hard work into success in 2022.

From a Seniors point of view, the VAFA has recently released their position on promotion/relegation which can be found on their website. Our 6th place finish sees us playing D1 football again next season and we are keen to see what 2022 has in store with a new coach and some talented under 19s looking to make the step up to open age grade.

Also, we have decided to hold off on club awards presentations until we are able to celebrate together as we deem those being celebrated are befitting of greater congratulations than what can be accomplished via Zoom.
