Private Health Insurance
Therry Penola Football club does have cover for:
• The ‘Gap’ (shortfall) in reimbursement between your own Private Health insurance benefits and the total medical cost
Therry Penola Football club does not have cover for:
• Private Health insurance for players
• Income protection or personal accident insurance (which provides an income stream whilst you are unable to work)
Players are encouraged to arrange:
• Private Health insurance (hospital cover as a minimum – covers surgery / operation)
• Ambulance cover
• Consider income protection / personal accident insurance if self employed
With the high number of ACL injuries the club has suffered in 2017 it is highly recommended that you take out a Private Health cover policy. If you do not have Private Health cover, you may be waiting up to 12 months for a surgery appointment via the Public Health system.
